Heating and Air Conditioning Control Panels (HVAC) in Buses – Passenger Comfort
A properly functioning heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system is one of the most important features of every coach, intercity and city bus. At the heart of this system is the heating control panel (often integrated with the air conditioning controller), which allows the driver to precisely manage the temperature in the passenger compartment and at the driver's station.
A heating controller failure – indicated by no response to temperature changes, non-functioning blowers, a frozen display or a lack of communication with the heating unit (e.g. Webasto, Spheros, Eberspächer) – can effectively take a bus out of service, especially during the winter season or in hot weather. At Peterbus.pl, we know that passenger comfort directly affects the reputation of your transport company, which is why we offer reliable solutions for climate-control electronics.
A wide selection of controllers – from Euro 3 classics to modern buses
The Peterbus.pl range includes both factory-new and 100% fully functional used heating control panels. We fully understand the specific requirements of the transport market in Poland, which is why we ensure the availability of parts for different vehicle generations:
-
Older models (Euro 3 and earlier): We offer analogue and digital controllers that are difficult to find on the market for such road legends as Autosan (e.g. H9, A1010M), Jelcz, as well as older generations of Setra, MAN and Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
-
Modern HVAC systems: We permanently stock advanced air conditioning computers and control panels for Solaris buses, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter/Citaro, Setra 400/500 series and MAN Lion's Coach.
-
Auxiliary heating: You will also find dedicated switches, programmers and control clocks for auxiliary heating systems from the most popular brands (Webasto, Eberspächer).
Why buy a heating control panel from Peterbus.pl?
-
Rigorous inspection: All used control panels undergo a detailed check of the operation of their buttons, knobs, backlighting and LCD screens. You purchase a part ready for direct installation in the cockpit.
-
Significant savings: On-board electronics at authorised service centres can cost a fortune. Our used original components ensure that factory operating parameters are retained at a fraction of the price of a new part.
-
Fast delivery: We understand the pressure of time and approaching service deadlines. Ordered panels are securely packed and dispatched without delay to minimise the vehicle's downtime in the workshop.
How to select the right heating controller?
Control panels may look identical from the outside, but they can differ in pin configuration, support for specific heating zones (front/rear) or software version compatible with the individual bus's CAN installation. To avoid mistakes, always compare the manufacturer's part numbers (e.g. Sutrak, Webasto, Spheros, Kipp or the bus manufacturer's OEM numbers) shown on the label on the back of the housing.
Having trouble selecting the right heating control panel for your bus? Contact the Peterbus.pl team! Our experts will help you verify part compatibility and select a solution that restores the ideal temperature in your vehicle.
