Purchase of parts

Purchase of bus parts – new parts, warehouse stock and surplus inventory

Peterbus purchases bus parts throughout Poland. We primarily buy new parts, surplus warehouse stock, production surpluses, professionally refurbished parts and larger batches of components left after a fleet change, company closure or bus conversion.

You do not have to list every part yourself, prepare separate descriptions or look for multiple buyers. You can send us photos of the entire warehouse, a list of part numbers or basic information about your inventory. After reviewing it, we will present an offer to purchase the entire batch or selected items.

For larger batches, we can collect the parts ourselves from anywhere in Poland.

Purchase of bus parts, surplus stock and warehouse inventory

Which bus parts do we purchase?

We are primarily interested in:

  • new bus parts,
  • surplus warehouse stock,
  • warehouse stock for older bus models,
  • production surpluses,
  • surplus stock left after orders have been fulfilled,
  • parts in original packaging,
  • parts without packaging but with legible numbers and markings,
  • professionally refurbished parts,
  • entire warehouses of bus parts,
  • larger batches of parts from one manufacturer or for one bus model,
  • equipment removed during a vehicle conversion,
  • parts left after a bus fleet has been replaced or discontinued.

We assess every offer individually. Factors include the condition of the parts, manufacturer, catalogue number, application, quantity and current demand for the product.

Purchase of surplus warehouse stock

Many companies accumulate parts purchased over the years for buses that are no longer in use. After a fleet change, a warehouse may contain components for older MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Setra, BOVA, Neoplan, Scania, Renault, Irisbus, Volvo, Iveco, Temsa, Van Hool, Autosan, Solaris and other bus brands.

We also purchase such stock when:

  • you do not have complete warehouse documentation,
  • you do not know the current value of the parts,
  • the goods have been stored for many years,
  • the packaging is dirty or damaged,
  • some part numbers need to be read and identified,
  • the inventory includes products for different bus brands and models.

You can send photos of shelves, packaging, labels and part numbers. You do not need to prepare a detailed inventory at the start of the conversation.

Purchase of parts after a bus fleet change

Changing the brand or model of buses often means that previously purchased parts are no longer needed. This applies to carriers, public transport companies, tourism companies, transport operators and workshops servicing a specific fleet.

We purchase parts left after:

  • the sale of buses,
  • replacing the fleet with newer vehicles,
  • changing the vehicle brand,
  • ending support for a specific model,
  • taking older buses out of service,
  • switching to electric vehicles or another type of drive.

We are interested both in individual valuable components and entire batches of parts.

Purchase of parts after company closure or cessation of business

Contact us if you:

  • are ending your transport business,
  • are closing a bus workshop,
  • are winding up a parts shop or wholesaler,
  • are changing industries,
  • are reducing your warehouse space,
  • have taken over the assets of a closed company,
  • are clearing a warehouse after many years of operations,
  • want to quickly sell a larger batch of parts to one buyer.

We can assess the entire warehouse and indicate which parts interest us. For larger quantities of goods, we will agree on the method of loading and collection.

Purchase of refurbished parts

We also purchase professionally refurbished parts, especially:

  • bus alternators,
  • starter motors,
  • air compressors,
  • brake calipers,
  • pneumatic valves,
  • air dryers,
  • actuators,
  • pumps,
  • steering system components,
  • gearbox components,
  • heating and air-conditioning system components.

Refurbished parts should be complete and suitable for resale. If you have refurbishment documentation, test results or information about the work carried out, include it with your enquiry.

Purchase of production and import surpluses

We also work with manufacturers, importers, distributors and suppliers of bus parts.

You can notify us about:

  • surplus stock after production has ended,
  • batches produced in quantities exceeding the order,
  • products left after a cancelled contract,
  • end-of-series parts,
  • goods remaining after a change of packaging or labelling,
  • import surpluses,
  • products withdrawn from the current range,
  • parts for bus models that the company no longer wishes to support,
  • goods taking up needed warehouse space.

We are also interested in batches produced for a specific bus model, even if that vehicle is no longer manufactured.

Parts left after bus conversions

We also purchase larger batches of components left after the conversion of buses, coaches and minibuses, for example into motorhomes, special-purpose vehicles, mobile offices, catering vehicles or exhibition vehicles.

These may include:

  • bus seats,
  • headrests,
  • luggage racks,
  • interior lighting components,
  • air vents,
  • passenger panels,
  • curtains and guide rails,
  • upholstery components,
  • handrails and handles,
  • driver's area equipment,
  • doors, hatches and interior components,
  • heating and air-conditioning equipment.

For this group, we primarily consider larger, complete batches of components in a condition that allows them to be used again.

Other situations in which it is worth contacting us

Submit parts for valuation also when:

  • you have bought a warehouse or company equipment and do not know what it contains,
  • you have parts from a former authorised service centre,
  • you have products left after completing a tender,
  • your warehouse contains parts for buses previously imported from abroad,
  • you have taken over stock from another carrier or workshop,
  • you have batches of parts from displays, returns or cancelled orders,
  • you want to sell unused equipment from demonstration buses,
  • you have parts for rare or older bus models,
  • you want to clear warehouse space quickly.

Do not throw away parts simply because they have not been used for a long time. Many components for older buses are still in demand, especially when their production has ended.

How can you submit parts for valuation?

The easiest way is to send us:

  1. photos of the parts or the entire warehouse,
  2. photos of labels and catalogue numbers,
  3. information on whether the parts are new, refurbished or removed from a vehicle,
  4. the approximate number of products,
  5. the location of the goods,
  6. information on whether you have a warehouse inventory,
  7. a telephone number for contact.

If you have a spreadsheet in Excel or another file, you can send it by email. If you do not have a list, start with a few general photos of the warehouse. We will advise you what information is needed for further assessment.

Collection of parts throughout Poland

We can collect larger batches of parts using our own transport. The collection method is agreed individually, depending on the quantity, size and location of the goods.

We collect, among other things:

  • parts on pallets,
  • entire warehouse shelving units,
  • crates and containers with components,
  • large-size components,
  • seats and interior equipment,
  • entire batches from companies being closed.

For larger warehouses, it is possible to inspect the goods on site beforehand.

Sell bus parts to Peterbus

We have experience identifying parts for buses of various brands and years. We are particularly interested in components for older vehicles, for which parts are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain.

We assess every enquiry individually. Sending photos does not mean automatic acceptance of the entire offer, but it allows us to quickly determine which products we can purchase.
